  My name is Cindy Hughes, and my entire family is buried here. In 2006 we traveled here for my dad's memorial service and burial. The Superintendant at that time was a wonderful compassionate man who took care of everything on a Saturday for us, as we were traveling from Buffalo, NY. This past Saturday, May 18th, 2013, we were met by NO ONE, the office was CLOSED, and our flowers were sitting out in the open by the office door where ANYONE could have taken them. We were NEVER told that the office would be closed, or to show relatives directions had they needed them. When I called on monday to discuss this with the new Superintendant, Connie Goedart, she blamed the florist, etc, as well as being rude, and actually laughed at me. This is NOT acceptable for the costs involved.. I have since attempted to speak with someone on the Twn. of Queensbury Cemetery Division, who has NOT returned my call, and also placed 2 calls to the Town Supervisor, RonaldMontesi, who also has not returned my calls. I plan to contact NYS Cemetery Division, as well as the local newspaper also as a result. The service/burial was difficult enough, but this was simply uncalled for, and extremely poor customer relations. My suggestion is for anyone looking at Pine View, to go elsewhere. As a sidenote, I just received a call from Ronald Montesi the Queensbury Town Supervisor, and we had a long discussion, and he assured me he would handle the problems, and also get back to me with resolution. I will be waiting to hear from him, yet disgusted that this needed to get this far...
